BenJohn Franklin & Marshall College Project Type: Web Animation Technologies Used: Flash

Franklin & Marshall College was looking for a way to communicate with students using viral animation. We suggested a series of "buddy films" that followed namesakes Benjamin Franklin and John Marshall through the process of applying. Complete with its own micro-site and "blooper" reel, the BenJohn project had over 50,000 visitors in its first three months.

The project used a Terry Gilliam style animation method and was executed in Flash. Voice over talent consisted of members of the College staff. Everything was scripted and storyboarded to insure both effective use of time and to make it possible for future episodes to be created with a lower cost/time investment. Oh, and we're told that the "Brilliant!" Guinness campaign was inspired by the site. Sweet!
