The new version of author Laura Benedict's web site was deployed in advance of the debut of her second novel, "Calling Mr. Lonely Hearts". Her first book ("Isabella Moon") was abeedle.com's first foray into developing a site and 'movie trailer' for an author's work. The results were so successful that Laura asked us to redesign the entire site and create another trailer to help launch her second book.

An active blogger and speaker, Laura wanted a site that encouraged visitors to learn more about her work, find her various blogs and upcoming appearances, and buy some books. The result is a brooding web environment that matches the tone of her work yet still invites exploration through easy navigation and relevant top-level content.
